How can I explain how this whole process of "Me'at Menim" (Small Changes) leads to (Huge Rewards)  someone unacquainted with this idea ?  Let's start with this true story about how I came to find a translator to make my work accessible to English readers.  Whilst you are reading this story, try to imagine a similar life experience that you have had.

The "Precious Knowledge of the World" was written in Hebrew. Once completed, I decided to find a translator to make this book accessible to a greater audience.  This goal remained only in my imagination till an Israeli-American family friend heard that I was looking for an English translator and without taking even a minute (Me'at) of her time, knew exactly how and where to post an ad which would attract the most qualified candidates – sparing me needless time searching for the primordial needle in the haystack.  Within 24 hours of the ad posting, I received over a dozen potential choices and made my selection within a few days.

Now, do you think that because this Israeli-American friend spent only one minute of her time posting the ad that her reward for this action would be equally miniscule ?  No way !  In the time it took her to post that ad, she helped someone find a job (the translator).  In gratitude for this, the translator provided her with deeper insight into my writings that had eluded her from the Hebrew text.  The translator's work gave back to my friend a gift infinitely more powerful and valuable then the time and energy that my friend put into creating the ad. 

Think of how much you would be willing to pay to know how to solve your own life's challenges, and this friend of mine managed to reap these precious rewards with hardly any effort.

If you want to view this example another way, take the pronunciation of the word "ad". To a Hebrew speaker, it sounds like "had" (הד) – which means "echo".  A sound which bounces and increases in volume and depth from its original source.  That's what my friend's ad managed to do.  Take a moment and reflect on all the beneficiaries of my friend's initial effort.  Did you remember to include yourself, and all the others now able to read and grasp these secrets ?   Now you understand the power of small changes.
